I've lived in Santa Cruz county all my adult life and seeing our communities THRIVE is very imporant to me. In the early 2010s, I co-founded New Earth Exchange, a digital and print alternative currency platform for Santa Cruz County. This venture demonstrated my commitment to creating sustainable economic systems that empower local communities and support businesses. Though the endeavor was eventually unsuccessful, our group's dedication to strengthening the local economy never wavered. You may be one of our group and if you are, welcome!

The Santa Cruz Connect initiative partly evolved from this earlier work. As an entrepreneur since my teens, I've refined my approach to community-based economic development with a sharper focus on helping local businesses thrive. I know the importance of that since I've owned several businesse in the Santa Cruz area in different niches myself over the past 35+ years. This initiative incorporates lessons Iv'e learned about effective digital platforms, strategic marketing, and community engagement that drive business growth. It represents my dedication to fostering a robust local economy by connecting businesses and residents, providing tools that enhance business success throughout Santa Cruz County.
